This site is published by SLAMWATCH, an independent publisher with no ownership link to any tournament, tour or broadcaster and no editorial relationship with the betting operators the paid links lead to. One small team builds and maintains the site, and the address below reaches it.

The site earns from those paid links, which is stated on every page that carries one and set out in full on the disclosure page. No operator has ever been able to buy a broadcaster listing, a position in a table or a word of the written text, and that is the line the site is run on.

Nineteen tournaments: the four majors, the ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 events and the two season finals. Each one has a page that is updated every year rather than replaced, so a link saved this season still works next season.

Below that level the tour runs hundreds of events a year. We do not cover them, because a page nobody maintains is worse than no page.

Draws, scores and rankings come from a commercial sports data feed. Pages are rebuilt from it several times a day while a tournament is running and once a week otherwise. Nothing on the site is written by hand except the explanatory text and the broadcast information.

Two things are adjusted after the feed. Tournament start dates are recalculated from the first match of the main draw, because the feed counts qualifying week as part of the tournament. Surface names are normalised, because the same surface arrives under several spellings.

Every page carries the time its data was last pulled from the feed. That time comes from the data itself rather than from the moment the page was rebuilt, so it does not move when nothing has changed.

The descriptions of each tournament, the guides and the viewing notes are written by hand, one tournament at a time, and edited before they go up. They are not generated from the feed and not spun from each other, which is why the nineteen tournament pages read differently even though they share a structure.

Claims that could be wrong get checked against a source before they are published, and anything superlative carries a number and a date: not "one of the biggest stadiums" but 23,771 seats. Broadcast listings are researched country by country and stamped with the date they were checked, because television rights are renegotiated every season and a listing that was right last year is a liability this one.
